Exhibition on the Chernobyl disaster (until 25.05.)

In 1986, a major disaster occurred in the Ukrainian city of Chernobyl. There was a nuclear power plant there for the production of electricity. An explosion occurred at the power plant. Radioactive substances spread throughout the region. These substances are dangerous to humans, animals, and nature. The author Swetlana Alexijewitsch visited the people there. In the exhibition "Swetlana Alexijewitsch: Tschornobyl. Archiv der unsichtbaren Katastrophe", you can see videos of these conversations. Spring Festival

History of seasonal workers in Switzerland (until 21.06.)

The exhibition "Wir, Saisonniers..." shows the history of seasonal workers from 1931 to 2026. During this period, many people came to Switzerland to work. They worked on construction sites, in agriculture, or in restaurants. Seasonal workers were only allowed to stay in Switzerland for a few months each year. They were not allowed to move or bring their families to Switzerland. The exhibition uses photographs and reports to show how these people lived and how valuable their work is for Switzerland to this day. Exhibition opening hours: Wed and Sun 12:00-18:00.
